CLEM COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 has without a doubt had a significant impact on all of us. Most if not all events have been cancelled since the middle of March 2020. We at the memorial have continued to maintain the beautiful memorial that honors all of the local, state and federal law enforcement personnel that have lost their lives in the performance of their duties.

Special thanks to the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection for their day to day overseeing of the memorial.

We do hope that sometime in 2021 we will have some degree of normalcy, and that we will begin to plan for both the annual memorial dinner at the Aqua Turf and the annual memorial service at the Connecticut Police Academy in the month of May, which is Law Enforcement Month throughout the country.

On the positive side we have be blessed that we have not lost any law enforcement personnel to COVID-19 despite the serious threats that the line personnel encounter every single day.

We have made the pledge to “NEVER FORGET” and will honor that commitment. In the interim. We want everyone to stay safe as together we will get through this.
